The rooms in each hall are very similar. In the typical residence hall, you will find:

• 学生的房间. 床, 桌子, 椅子, 梳妆台, micro-fridges, 阻燃窗帘, and closets are provided by the University. Most furniture is adjustable; no cinderblocks or homemade lofts allowed. All mattresses are extra long; bring extra-long twin sheets to fit. If you bring a rug, 5’x7′ rugs are best.
• 互联网接入. Students have internet access in all residence halls via a WiFi connection. You may choose a wired connection (most gamers or tower computer users do); if so, you’ll need to supply your own network cable.
• 社区空间. 社区 kitchenettes are equipped with a stove, oven, toaster, etc. Lounges house a flat screen for streaming content through Xfinity on campus services included in your housing fee.
• 洗衣房. Laundry facilities are FREE!

公会大厅 is home to most first-year students with a few upperclassmen electing to stay for another year. It’s a very social environment, the perfect community for anyone new to college. All of the rooms are doubles or 三元组. 公会 features a lounge with 台球桌, ping pong table, vending machines, and kitchen. The large main lounge is a great gathering space with a big screen television and fireplace. The Office of 居住生活和住房, RA办公室, and the 卫生服务 Office are located on the first floor of 公会.

三一厅

二年级的学生, 初中 和老年人 live in 三一厅’s double rooms, as well as a few in singles, 三元组, 和四胞胎. 三一厅 has four levels; each resident floor has a full kitchenette with all the necessities for residence hall living—toasters, 微波, stove/oven and refrigerators. The ground floor has a student lounge equipped with a large screen TV for streaming content through Xfinity on campus, 台球桌, 研究表, 自动售货机, 学生邮件访问. The second floor offers a quiet study space with internet access.

演讲大厅 is home to students ranging from first-years to seniors. Many students who live in 演讲 choose to remain here during their four years at Rivier. 演讲大厅 features a 12-suite configuration; each suite contains two bedrooms, as well as a full bathroom with a toilet, 浴缸/淋浴, 和水槽. The building features two large common rooms: one for study and one for socializing. The first floor has a full kitchen and eating area, as well as laundry facilities.

臂章大厅 offers suite-style apartment living and houses a mix of sophomores, 初中, 和老年人. Each suite consists of four double rooms and one triple, 两间浴室, 两个虚荣, a kitchenette with sink and cabinets, 还有一个很大的公共区域. Each floor has a common area outside of the suites. The second floor has a full kitchen and laundry facilities (at no charge), and resident mailboxes. The third floor features three small, quiet study areas for students. 臂章大厅 offers a significant amount of independence compared to the other residence halls on campus.

河村 offers four-person (4) apartments for upperclassmen. The first two of seven buildings will open in the fall of 2023. Each apartment has 两间浴室, a full kitchen, a living area, and an in-unit washer and dryer. 在每一栋楼里, seven (7) apartments offer four single bedrooms, while two (2) apartments offer two (2) double bedrooms. The main entrances open to a common room with soft seating and a fireplace, while the second floors have two hallway-end study nooks. The Village offers independent living in a meal-plan-optional residential community.
